You're Not Stuck - Your Focus is Stuck!
Maybe it’s a relationship that’s lost its oomph or a
job that feels like Monday all week long or perhaps just a general
feeling of ennui. You know that everything changes constantly, that
nothing stays the same for even a moment, but still you feel stuck.
This can mean only one thing – you’re focused on what
is. You keep recreating what is because you keep focusing on
what is. The solution is to shift your focus from what is to what
can be. A good way to do this is to ask yourself – What
do I want? What do I really want? When you understand that you will
experience whatever you focus on, you are never again stuck feeling
powerless.
When you focus on what you want, you achieve vibrational alignment
with what can be. When you focus on what you don’t want, you
continue to align vibrationally with what is. Quantum Physics teaches
that nothing is fixed, that there are no limitations, that everything
is potential. Knowing that everything and everyone is constantly
in the process of becoming, and knowing the power of focus, we
never need to feel stuck with an undesirable life.
If you’re deep in the midst of what you don’t want,
you have two choices: You can either freak out and pretend you’re
powerless OR you can take back your power by choosing thoughts that
feel better. Take back your power by choosing Feel Good Thoughts.
Catch Yourself. So, how do you quit focusing on what you
don’t want and switch to what you do want? If you catch yourself
worrying about what you don’t want – What if this terrible
thing happens? – stop, take a deep breath, and imagine what
you do want – What if this wonderful thing happens? Stop in
the middle of any unpleasant feeling and find a thought that feels
better.
When you feel bad, catch yourself and ask empowering questions,
such as – What do I really want? How would I like this situation
to turn out? What if I really can have what I want? Catch yourself
in the act of Feel Bad Thoughts and talk yourself back up the emotional
scale. As you develop your Feel Good muscles, your Feel Bad muscles
will atrophy from lack of use.
The Law of Attraction states that you attract into your Life whatever
you focus on – whether you want it or not. To attract your
dreams instead of your nightmares, remove your focus from what you
don’t want – what is – and hold it firmly on what
you do want – what can be. Keep focusing on your desires
with positive expectation and voila! – all your dreams will
come true!
