The Skinny on Getting Thin and Staying Thin
“To better understand the Law of Attraction, see yourself
as a magnet attracting unto you the essence of that which you are
thinking and feeling. And so, if you are feeling fat, you cannot
attract thin.” – Abraham-Hicks
Have you ever dared to ask, “How can I eat the foods I love
AND weigh what I want to weigh?” Perhaps that question has
never occurred to you because you believe it has to be one way or
the other – eat what you want to eat OR look the way you want
to look. Well, here’s the good news: When you apply the Law
of Attraction, you can have both!
When you apply the Law of Attraction, you can have the body of your
dreams with-out deprivation diets or strenuous exercise. When you
apply the Law of Attraction, you can thoroughly enjoy the pleasures
of food again. When you apply the Law of Attraction, you can literally
think your ideal body into being with the infinite power of your
mind. In fact, it’s your thoughts that make you fat or
thin – not your food.
So how does it all work? According to the Law of Attraction, at
every moment you draw to yourself the essence of what you predominantly
think and feel. The Law of Attraction states that you at-tract into
your life whatever you focus on, which means that foods are not
“fattening” per se. If they were, everyone who eats
them would gain weight and we know that’s not true. We all
know people who can eat anything and everything without gaining
an ounce. They have an expectation, an underlying belief that they
can eat whatever they like and maintain their desired shape, so
they can. And so can you!
When you have a desire, you’re placing your order in the Cosmic
Café. So, if you have a desire to be thin, you’re placing
your order to be thin. If you then think, “but I’m fat
and I’ll always be fat,” you have in effect called the
waiter over and canceled your order to be thin. The waiters and
the chefs in the Cosmic Café all work for you; and, when
you place an order, they immediately respond to your request and
will serve you exactly what you desire UNLESS you cancel your order.
Your thoughts and beliefs determine whether food contributes to
weight gain or to weight loss. Your body conforms to the expecta-tions,
attitudes, and beliefs of your mind. By applying the Law of Attraction,
you can sculpt your ideal body with your thoughts.
How empowering it is to know that focusing on your ideal body creates
your ideal body and that focusing on, worrying about, struggling
against unwanted weight perpetuates your overweight condition. How
empowering it is to know that you can change your physical condition
by directing your thoughts toward the body you desire.
