Want to Lose Weight? Lighten Up!

Are you very unhappy with the number you see when you step on the
scales or the silhouette you see when you look in the mirror? Have
you been very unhappy about your size for a very long time? If so,
it may sound impossible to lighten up and accept where you are.
But the thing is, as long as you remain unhappy about your weight,
you're insuring that the pounds stay on.
In accordance with the Law of Attraction, by focusing on what you
don't want, you're creating and attracting more of what you don't
want. You've probably heard that what you resist persists. Resisting
and fighting against unwanted weight actually perpetuates the unwanted
weight because you're focusing on what you don't want. As you lighten
up and stop fighting against what you DON'T WANT, you automatically
begin moving in the direction of what you DO WANT.
To lighten up physically, the first step is to lighten up emotionally.
Accept where you are now. And, at the same time, maintain positive
expectation that you're on your way to where you would rather be.
The ideal position for weight loss is to accept your body as it
is today and simultaneously expect to be moving closer to your ideal
body tomorrow. Accept and Expect!
Accepting where you are does not mean merely putting up with circumstances
you don't like. It means letting go of resistance in order to allow
in what you do like. To accept where you are, repeat to yourself:
I am where I am now and it's OK.
I am where I am and it's not where I want to be, but it's OK.
I'm OK where I am because I know I can get from where I am to where
I want to be.
The best way to get from where you are to where you want to be is
to make peace with where you are right now and get excited about
where you're headed. Thinking "I'm fat and I'll always be fat"
is resistance. As you think, "I'm on my way to thin" and
really FEEL it, you ARE on your way. As you relax and let it be
OK, you release resistance and open a space for what you want to
come in. As you reach for thoughts that feel better, you're applying
the awesome power of the Law of Attraction.
The best way to attract weight loss or anything else you desire
is to lighten up, have fun and FEEL GOOD. Heavy feelings keep you
heavy. As you FEEL lighter, you become lighter. Remember: Your thoughts
created the body you now have. Your thoughts can create the body
you would like to have.
