'Law of Attraction' Turbo-charges Dating
There are more than 86 million singles in the U.S.,
the Census Bureau found, and one study reports that almost half
the people surveyed have not had a serious relationship within the
last year.
You probably know many single people yourself who really want to
experience a loving relationship. For fun, in about a minute, I
counted 10 that I know.
So what can people looking for love do to find it?
They can look through online personals, join community groups that
interest them and in general put themselves out there more, in places
where the kind of partner they want to date hangs out.
Yet, really my advice to them is this: Look no further.
You've had that experience where you need to go to an important
appointment, and you can't find your keys? No matter how hard you
try, they seem to be nowhere in sight, right?
Then, after you give up, suddenly you find them probably in an obvious
area, or even somewhere you looked half a dozen times.
This is an example of how the Law of Attraction works that most
people can relate to.
When you're looking for love, and you really, really want to find
it, in most cases you actually empower you not having a loving relationship.
In terms of the Law of Attraction, you're pushing love away from
you.
You know your thoughts are powerful things, and the Universe tries
to bring you what it hears you saying you want.
In this case, people who really want or need to feel loved are probably
deep down (or openly) afraid that they are never going to find someone
to love and that they aren't deserving of love.
The Universe treats the fears these people have as commands. Just
like a computer taking what you say literally, the Universe manifests
what these people "tell" it to, so that they will not
find someone to love.
(Mom was right when she said, "Be careful what you ask for,
because you just might get it.")
So if you want a loving relationship, how can you empower what you
want and begin attracting it?
You have to start with loving yourself.
Allow a statement like this to be the command that you say from
your heart and with confidence, and really feel the power of it
run through your bones and into your soul (you'll be quickly sending
it to the Universe):
"I am a beautiful, kind-hearted being who sees the best in
myself and others. I give freely of my heart and feel great in sharing
my love unconditionally with others. I know that my life is adding
a lot of beauty, happiness, peace, joy and love to the world. I
love myself fully and know I am attracting the right partner
who gives these same qualities to the world as I do, and I am grateful
for having this person in my life."
If you let a statement like that (or adapt it to the qualities that
you want to find within you or within your partner) be your first
thought in the morning when you wake up, think of the kind of day
you will have. (Say it to yourself in front of a mirror, preferably
a full-length one so you can appreciate your whole being.)
If that kind of statement is the last thought you have before you
go to sleep at night, the part of you not limited by space and time
(which knows how true that statement is about you) will have the
whole night to help you create that reality.
The other key ingredient to empowering what you want through the
Law of Attraction is to let go of this desire.
Remember, every thought you have either brings what you want closer
to you or pushes it further away. You already empowered attracting
your ideal relationship, so get out of the way and let the Universe
bring it to you, on it's schedule, not yours.
Forget about it. Focus on how you can make the world a more special
place for others. Work on yourself if you want, and make sure you
empower what you want in other areas of your life, too, instead
of empowering your fears about not having what you want.
When the time is right, another aspect of the Law of Attraction
you've heard many times before will come into play: "When you
least expect it; expect it."
You'll "love" the results you get from using the Law of
Attraction on your romantic life. Does that sound "attractive"
to you? You are.
