Whether or not world-ending prophecies are all BS is completely irrelevant here, which is why I am rather dismayed at how this topic was fielded. Sounded more like Esther talking than Abraham.
My point is, neither the Mayans, nor the Hopi, nor any of the other ancient traditions around the world speak of these times as being the “end of the world.” They merely refer to the end of one age/paradigm/cycle, and the begining of another. Nothing to do with contemporary fear mongering.

It’s just the cycle starts over. I try to explain that to people. It’s not the Mayans who say this stuff. People in recent times are the ones saying it’s the end of the world and taking the calendar out of context.
