The fact of a child being born into terrible circumstances could be explained by emotional escrow and creating contrast. However, what about a child born starving with sand in its eyes and then dies within days on a dung heap? Where was the positive ending there for this supposed soul who came here to experience bliss? What about someone born without a brain stem or someone who ends up dying in a mental ward tormented with horrible schizophrenic delusions? These explanations aren’t sufficient.

    Wow, Abraham! Esther! Wow.
Yep – I s’pose I was one of the gung-ho bits of source energy that thought “yeah, I’ll go into a really dark and difficult beginning cos everything’ll be alright!” Wouldn’t have minded though if it the turn-around had come before age 45 though! Oh well ,better late than never, eh?

The immortal being that chooses to be aborted or to die at birth or shortly after birth is not diminished by the experience. The data they gather must have some value, some satisfaction of curiosity. We cannot think as an immortal soul while we are so focused on our mortal bodies.
