So many comments, and so many who don’t know who Abraham really is.The message you are hearing is not from someone who is in physical form in this time space reality, but non-physical in a timeless spaceless reality.Abraham is infinate intellenge,a teacher of teachers, and they speak thru Ester Hicks. For those of you who really want to know who Abraham is,bring up ABRAHAM EXPLAINS WHO THEY ARE on YOUTUBE,THEN SIT BACK AND ENJOY….*SMILING*…..

All that you’ve said is false.

When I was a small child, I would suffer from terrible earaches.

I was not refusing to receive anything.

I was not “allowing” or “attracting” the pain.

    Period.

I think the understanding of Law of Attraction is “like attracts like” or more so “like vibration attracts vibration”. We are all creating by our feelings and emotions, thinking has the lowest edge on law of attraction.

MAYBE pain is trapped energy, and by allowing the energy to flow through the pain and release it might have helped. There are herbs that can help with moving energy. Maybe you could have attracted a situation where your parent could have been made aware of some sort of herb or healing process that helped.
You might have been focused more on the pain rather than the healing. You might have already concluded that no treatement would work and therefore blocked any manifestation of aleviation.

Pain is a physiological defense mechanism, and serves no higher purpose. As a young boy, I was too young to begin to conceive of the concept of treatment, let alone its success or failure, even in rudimentary terms. Like many young people, I experienced frequent ear infections due to immature Eustachian tubes which disallowed the flow of pressure into the middle ear and prevented proper drainage, causing bacterial infections and a painful negative vacuum. The solution was surgery, not quackery.

Maybe it is about the reaching out process, Oxykotor.

  17. Anonymous on December 25th, 2008

Maybe it is about the reaching in process, Audrieau.

Maybe it’s about reaching up, for the stars!

Or maybe it’s about reaching down, to the core!

Or, maybe it’s all a big reach-around, and none of the new age BS you losers are shoveling correlates to reality in any way, shape or form.

To get right down to brass tacks, if any of these people actually cared about helping humanity (here’s looking at the pop-psych scam known as EST, and its more recent inbred corollaries), they would not charge exorbitant fees or collect ridiculous sums of capitol in exchange for their service to the greater good. Or, at the very least, they would pour all their profits into philanthropic causes devoted to meeting basic needs of the millions who cannot feed, house or otherwise sustain themselves!

The mind is a muscle like any other,
ask it to do something and it will do it.

Ask the mind a question and it will come up with an answer.

Whether this answer is true or not is another question.

Typically people believe in what makes them feel good, truth is , being human means living in a constant state of illusion.

  20. Anonymous on December 25th, 2008

It depends on what you are meaning by the word turth.

I believe that every concievable illusion be it answer or perception or experience,
is also inclusive in the whole of what can be called truth.
The way I see “truth” is that it’s everything and nothing. All the illusions/manifestations
and also nothing at all, and also neither one of those.

What’s wrong with a really good feeling illusion any way?

  21. Anonymous on December 25th, 2008

    Nothing. =)

I don’t trust human nature or the human mind… So all we have are good feeling illusions, I don’t think knowing ultimate truths is a human thing. :P

  22. Anonymous on December 25th, 2008

    Yeah, I’d agree with that.

  23. Anonymous on December 25th, 2008

“Time” is an illusion made up by something we call memory.

Death is pain. Death and injury is pain. Nothing to it really. We seem to be nothing at all but just bundles of pain. We get pain and give pain. Thats it.

Your perspective is from the temporal. In the eternal time / space paradigm, an individual does not suffer from any of the ailments that are associated with the temporal. In the eternal, an individual is eternally free, functional, wealthy, healthy, intelligent, … . In the temporal, an individual is eternally a slave, dysfunctional, poor, sick, stupid, … .
